I am a qualified* experienced Wellbeing Life Coach with a keen interest in self development and empowerment of women. I am also in training to become a counsellor / psychotherapist so bring with me experienced counselling skills, unconditional positive regard and a guarantee you will be heard. I believe that communication and relationships with others can have a significant impact on us, on our happiness and also our goals.
My own life experience has taught me a lot about trauma and loss and the associated rollercoaster of emotions which can ultimately lead to a negative view of self and poor mental health. Overcoming these self limiting beliefs and having acceptance of self can be difficult but it is possible. My journey to where I am today has given me an opportunity to grow - we might take some wrong turns along the way but thats okay. What's important is that we continue to believe that we can be happy, be successful (by our own judgement, not others) and that it is possible to make positive change by taking one day at a time.
Through experiencing lifes ups and downs, learning to trust my gut, reading A LOT of self-help books (together with a big sprinkling of psychotherapy, counselling, mentoring and coaching), I have learned to find solutions and strategies to take control of my own happiness and wellbeing. I want to share this knowledge and power with you so that you can achieve this too. I strongly believe that there is always a better way and through understanding of self, commitment and motivation, anything is possible.
